We love to finish a hot ride with a splash.

You should try it. Take a summer ride, finish with a dip in some refreshing water. Even better if you remembered to pack some extra snacks to relax with. Our Pueblo backyard is a real good place to make it happen. Here are a couple route options for you.

Double Splash Bash

15 miles of mixed gravel with two suggested spots for a quick splash.

Distance: 15.4 miles
Elevation Gain: 650’
Terrain: Mild gravel, concrete path, mellow doubletrack

Start and finish at Pueblo’s City Park, with a sample of the Lake Pueblo experience as well as a visit to the epic Waterworks Park along the Arkansas River! If you decide to have more than a quick wading dip…make sure you have a PFD or life jacket on. Stay safe and have fun out there.

Lakeside Lasso

8 miles of mellow singletrack trails and a spot to finish with a splash.

Distance: 8.3 miles
Elevation Gain: 415’
Terrain: Moderate singletrack trails. Mountain bike recommended, gravel bike is an option depending on experience and preferences.

Explore some trails at Lake Pueblo in this 8 mile lollipop (or lasso!) route. Start and end at the shore with a gorgeous view of the buttes across the lake. If you decide to have more than a quick wading dip…make sure you have a PFD or life jacket on. Stay safe and have fun out there.

Mixed Surface Sampler

22 miles of mixed Pueblo terrain with gorgeous views and a taco option after the finishing gravel descent!

Distance: 22.1 miles
Elevation Gain: 948’
Terrain: Gravel, singletrack trails, and riverside path. Trail sections vary in technical difficulty. Mountain bike may be preferred, gravel bike is an option depending on experience and preferences.

Get a sampling of Pueblo's riverside paths, Lake Pueblo's singletrack and doubletrack trails, and descend back into town (and tacos!) via some groovy gravel.

This route includes sections of trails with technical areas, climbs, and descents. Always ride in control. Walk your bike if you see fit. And have fun!.
